Engaging Students live |
I've had a couple of video conferences with my students since we began distance learning. They were just OK. So today, I tried something different. And it was better than OK! Today a used Socrative combined with Google Meets. Here's what I did:
1. Created a "Quiz" in Socrative 2. Invited my students to a Google Meet 3. Logged into Socrative > Started the Quiz> set it to "teacher paced 4. Had students go to Socrative and enter my "room" 5. Shared my screen via Google Meet and walked students through the lesson (Quiz) See the short example to the right. I could talk, explain, answer questions in real time. LOVED IT! |
